Strategic update: Accelerating our AI platform for healthcare builders

Our strategic direction
On January 28, we took a bold step forward: we opened our API to the world. This was the public milestone of a transformation we began over a year ago, quietly reshaping Corti into a focused AI infrastructure company, purpose-built for healthcare. Since that launch, the momentum has been undeniable, with a +40x growth in projects created on Corti in the last two quarters alone.
We’re focusing all our energy on what we do best: delivering a powerful, developer-ready platform for building safe, compliant, and transformative healthcare applications. Our mission remains the same - to make clinical expertise accessible to everyone - but the way we deliver on that mission is evolving.
Corti is becoming the foundation on which thousands of healthcare innovators will build. By sharpening our focus and scaling our platform capabilities, we’re creating the conditions for exponential impact: more solutions, more patients reached, and more time saved for clinicians at the frontlines of care.
Platform-first approach
Our API business is now a thriving venture, and this shift is the natural evolution of our technology and the growing demand for reliable healthcare AI infrastructure. We are concentrating our resources on delivering the dedicated AI layer that healthtech, medtech, and life-science companies need to create more accurate, compliant, and trustworthy AI solutions.
Key developments in our platform strategy include:
Enhanced API Platform: We're significantly expanding our API capabilities with new offerings, improved documentation, efficient self-service flows, SDKs, and the launch of Corti Console and API playground to lower entry barriers for builders.
Embedded Solutions: Our Corti Assistant experience is evolving into a flexible, embeddable offering. While we remain committed to supporting customers who use it as a standalone application, we're now enabling deeper integration into partner tools and clinical workflows - allowing for greater customization and alignment with local systems. For partners without their own applications, nothing changes today; we continue to support existing offerings and work closely with our reseller network as a core part of Corti’s future.
This strategic evolution positions us as a true enabler for the healthcare AI ecosystem, creating new opportunities for partnership and collaboration across the industry.
What this means for our customers and partners
This strategic shift eliminates potential friction for our API customers and partners. Our clear positioning makes us a true enabler rather than a competitor, opening up significantly more opportunities for partnership and growth.
For existing customers, this change strengthens our ability to deliver focused, high-quality platform services. Our core API infrastructure and support capabilities remain fully intact and will be enhanced through this more concentrated approach. This focused structure allows us to accelerate feature development, improve response times, and deliver deeper expertise to our platform users.
Organizational changes
As part of this strategic evolution, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our workforce and streamline our leadership in order to focus our resources on platform development and customer success. This decision reflects our commitment to building the strongest possible foundation for our customers and our mission and is made from a position of financial stability that ensures continued investment in our core platform.
We are launching a new commercial organizational structure centered around a new global activation team that will work directly with API customers to solve their practical and especially their technical products. Members of this team are available for direct consultation with the developer community, helping them find optimal solutions to healthcare AI problems - you can book sessions with them directly through our platform.
Around this new activation team, we are deepening our investment in several geographies to ensure comprehensive support for partners and customers worldwide. We're also implementing a dedicated customer success program that will provide our largest enterprise customers with dedicated technical resources and customized implementation support.
Finally, we are launching a dedicated growth team focused on expanding our API customer base and building out our console and playground product to be highly competitive in the infrastructure market. Rather than spreading resources across multiple product lines, we're concentrating our expertise where we can deliver the most value: the developer experience.
This approach allows us to grow sustainably while staying true to our core mission of giving everyone access to medical expertise globally.
The opportunity is clear. The technology is ready. And the need for our infrastructure has never been greater.
