Corti and medatixx bring AI documentation to outpatient care

TL;DR
- x.scribe is built on Corti's medical speech infrastructure and is live for medatixx's x.isynet and x.vianova platforms. It transcribes doctor-patient conversations in real time and generates structured documentation drafts automatically
- x.scribe is rolling out across additional medatixx platforms through Q2 2026 and is being demonstrated live at DMEA today and tomorrow at the medatixx booth, Hall 6.2, Booth A-101
x.scribe: powered by Corti
x.scribe records consultations via a connected microphone, converts speech to text in real time, and generates a medically structured documentation draft that physicians and psychotherapists can review, edit, and transfer directly into their practice software. x.scribe captures that conversation as it happens.
Corti's speech-to-text model powers x.scribe, and is trained on clinical language, updated continuously on anonymized real-world data, and built specifically for the data protection demands of regulated healthcare environments. It recognizes the terms, shorthand, and conversational pace of an actual consultation accurately without the need for extensive configuration. That matters in an outpatient setting where consultations move quickly. The output is a structured draft that physicians and psychotherapists can edit and apply templates to before it moves into their practice software.
Built for outpatient practice
medatixx serves more than 48,000 doctors and psychotherapists across Germany, and over 30 percent of all office-based physicians in the country use a medatixx product. x.scribe is designed to fit directly into that existing infrastructure while reducing documentation time. German outpatient practices typically run high volumes of consultations daily, leaving little room for lengthy post-encounter write-ups. Reducing that load without adding new systems is what makes the integration practical. x.scribe launched on February 25 for x.isynet and x.vianova users and will extend to medatixx, psyx, and xentro through Q2 2026.
Michael Schober, Head of Platform and Business Development at medatixx, said: "Corti is a reliable partner with proven AI expertise in healthcare. Together, we combine technological competence with our practical know-how. The result is x.scribe, a powerful solution for structured capture of doctor-patient conversations."
Both partners are actively exploring how to extend x.scribe into further automation of downstream processes within practice workflows. Stefan Hohmann, Director of Platform Sales at Corti, said: "We are working together on integration and defining use cases so that our technology supports where time, precision, and efficiency matter most. Our shared goal is to significantly reduce administrative burden for healthcare professionals, make documentation processes smarter, and create more room for direct patient care.”
