Over 100 companies are now building with Corti's infrastructure across 50+ use cases including revenue cycle management, clinical decision support, and care coordination

NEW YORK and COPENHAGEN -  February 3, 2026 Corti, the specialized AI lab for healthcare, today launched the Corti Agentic Framework, and Agent Library - production-grade infrastructure designed to prevent "safety spirals," the error cascades that have blocked AI agent deployment in healthcare despite a projected 10 million worker shortage by 2030. The framework provides the reasoning and execution layers needed to deploy AI agents safely at production scale.

While billions went into healthcare AI investment in 2025,  only 11% of AI agents reach production. When unsupervised agents make mistakes in workflows, including coding, documentation, or prior authorization, errors compound across connected systems faster than humans can intervene. These cascading failures appear correct to downstream systems until patients or finances are affected - preventing AI from becoming hireable labor in healthcare.

This deployment gap is part of a broader $600 billion divide between AI infrastructure investment and realized returns. In healthcare alone, McKinsey estimates $265 billion in administrative savings from billing and prior authorization remain locked behind trust and governance barriers.

Corti's Agentic Framework is a production-grade, multi-agent execution architecture that validates every agent action before execution using deterministic guardrails. Operating at the orchestration layer, the system governs allowable behavior across systems, workflows, and delegated scopes of authority, while maintaining complete, end-to-end audit trails required for regulated production deployment.

"Healthcare doesn't need smarter agents - it needs safer autonomy," said Andreas Cleve, CEO and co-founder of Corti. "Intelligence without control is a liability in clinical environments. We built an infrastructure that governs what AI is allowed to do. That's the difference between experimentation and deployment, between replacing software and plugging labor gaps."

The framework launches with a production-ready Agent Library that includes pre-configured agents validated for immediate production use across medical coding, documentation, referral coordination, clinical education, and clinical guidelines. Organizations can also build custom agents for workflows like prior authorization using Corti's integrations with trusted clinical data sources - all automatically inheriting governance and audit capabilities.

The Corti Agentic Framework provides the deterministic runtime required to safely move AI spend from the software budget into the labor budget.

"Healthcare is moving from inference to continuous agent-driven workflows," said Lars Maaløe, CTO and co-founder of Corti. "That requires infrastructure that can validate autonomous actions within the high stakes of healthcare. Corti is introducing a new category of GPU workload: governed execution."

The technology introduces three foundational capabilities that allow healthcare systems to scale automated labor capacity without increasing latency or clinical risk:

  • Governed Orchestration: A deterministic orchestrator that validates actions against clinical protocols in sub-milliseconds
  • Complete Auditability: Real-time provenance tracking that provides a "black box" recorder for regulatory compliance and insurance indemnity.
  • Open Standards: Support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) standards, allowing custom agents to inherit Corti’s governance automatically.
