Introducing Corti for Startups

TLDR
- Corti is introducing a global Startup Acceleration Program, open to early-stage teams from pre-seed through Series B building healthcare AI applications.
- Accepted startups receive up to $5,000 in API credits valid for 12 months, direct access to Corti's clinical AI models, and dedicated support from the team that built them.
- 85% of healthcare AI spend in 2025 goes to startups. The window to establish durable positions is open now.
- Applications take under five minutes. Apply today.
Healthcare has thousands of billion-dollar problems. No single company will solve them. The teams that will are being built right now, and today we're launching a program to back them.
Corti for Startups gives early-stage teams up to $5,000 in API credits, access to our clinical AI models, and direct support from the people who built them.
The scale of the problem
Healthcare is one of the largest single industries in the world and one of the most broken. In the United States alone, it accounts for nearly a fifth of GDP. Globally, the numbers are larger still. And yet the systems running it, the software, the workflows, the administrative infrastructure, were largely built decades ago, before smartphones, before cloud computing, before large language models existed.
The inefficiency is staggering.
- Clinicians spend almost half their time documenting care rather than delivering it (Sinsky et al.).
- Hospitals lose billions every year to coding errors and denied claims.
- Patients fall through gaps between systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
- Researchers wait months for data that should take hours to access.
- Entire care pathways exist on fax machines.
The opportunity is not incremental. It is structural. And it is enormous.
Every broken workflow in healthcare is a use case waiting to be built
No single company will build them all. The founders closest to each problem will.
Healthcare is not one market. It is thousands of distinct workflows, each with its own clinical context, regulatory environment, reimbursement structure, and patient population.
The market map below, from our partners at byFounders, makes the point visually: medical coding, medical imaging, clinical search, patient coordination, decision support, data structuring, consumer-facing AI. Dozens of companies in each category. And this is just the surface.

The ED physician spending two hours on documentation after every shift. The coding team manually reviewing charts that should have been processed automatically. The prior auth queue delaying care by days because two systems cannot talk to each other. Every one of those failures is a product. Every product needs a founder who understands the failure deeply enough to fix it.
That kind of understanding does not come from a platform team studying the problem from the outside. It comes from years inside a health system, a billing department, a specialty clinic, a research institution. It comes from lived experience with the exact workflow that needs to change.
This is why healthcare will not be transformed by one company. It will be transformed by hundreds of teams, each solving one specific problem for one specific part of the system, each with domain knowledge that cannot be replicated by a generalist.
The founders building those products are out there. Many of them are already building on Corti. We want to work alongside the rest of them.
Introducing a global Startup Acceleration Program for the builders closest to the problem
Corti for Startups is by design a global program. Healthcare is a global challenge and the founders building solutions to it are everywhere. The program is open to early-stage teams anywhere in the world, at any stage from pre-seed through Series B, building healthcare AI applications.
Accepted startups receive up to $5,000 in API credits valid for 12 months, across the full Corti platform. They also get dedicated time with Corti's AI team to scope their architecture, access to founder-led webinars on industry developments and product roadmap, and invitations to Corti events in New York, Copenhagen, London, and Berlin.
For funds and accelerators, we are building a VC partner track that lets investors fast-track portfolio companies into the program.
Applications take under five minutes. We review every submission and respond within one week.
The market is already moving in this direction. According to Menlo Ventures, 85% of healthcare AI spend in 2025 goes to startups, not incumbents. The reasons are straightforward: faster buying cycles, lower integration costs, and clearer ROI. The window for founders to establish durable positions is open, and it is open now.

We're excited to see what teams are building at the frontier
The teams that will reshape healthcare are building right now. A small team in Copenhagen building ambient documentation for Danish GPs. A founder in São Paulo who spent years in a hospital billing department and knows exactly where the revenue cycle fails. A researcher in London who came out of the NHS and has a very specific idea about how clinical decision support should actually work.
These founders do not need another generic AI platform. They need a clinical-grade foundation they can trust, so they can focus entirely on the problem only they understand.
That is what Corti for Startups is for.
