Corti and Posos bring certified medication intelligence to clinical AI agents

Posos, a French medtech company specializing in AI-assisted prescribing, is becoming one of the first Experts integrated into the Corti Agentic Framework. Through the integration, clinical AI agents built on Corti can query Posos in real time to identify contraindications, drug interactions, and patient-specific risks, with therapeutic adjustments referenced by authoritative sources.

Why medication reasoning is one of the hardest problems in clinical AI

Medication risk is one of the most consequential areas in healthcare. According to research from the NEJM Group, 39% of hospital complications are linked to medications. That risk compounds as populations age: one third of elderly patients now manage more than 10 medications per day, according to Irdes.

Getting this right in an AI agent context is not just a data problem. It requires certified, explainable, and auditable pharmaceutical knowledge that can operate across clinical settings and regulatory environments.

Posos brings exactly that. Its drug database is approved by the French National Authority for Health. Its APIs are CE Class IIb Medical Device-certified. Its knowledge graph is natively encoded in international terminologies including SNOMED CT, FHIR, ATC, and ICD-10, covering the multilingual, multi-terminology requirements of real European clinical environments.

How the integration works

Posos Expert is now available in Corti's Agent Library. Developers and software vendors building clinical AI agents on Corti can equip those agents with direct access to Posos' pharmaceutical knowledge layer, without a standalone medication-specific integration project.

The integration is built on open interoperability standards including Model Context Protocol, FHIR, and Agent-to-Agent protocols. For EHRs, telemedicine platforms, and practice management systems already connected to Corti, adding Posos medication expertise is a configuration decision, not an integration project.

Production deployment and regulatory validation are assessed country by country, reflecting the variation in healthcare regulatory requirements across European markets.

The partnership is being announced at SantExpo 2026, taking place May 19-21 at Paris Porte de Versailles.
